This past Christmas 2016 was my 14th since two neurosurgeons Dr. Frederick Marciano, MD, Ph.D. and Dr. Nicholas Theodore, MD saved my life on November 5, 2002 from a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). I had emergency surgery that day to stop a venous subdural hematoma that had filled the upper right quadrant of my skull with blood and was pushing the right part of my brain to the center-line of my skull. I had two grand mal seizures post-op and had a near death experience (NDE) in recovery. Thank you, Dr. Marciano, and Dr. Theodore.
On my 13th anniversary November 5 last year I had just finished my 34th “dive” in a hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) chamber. On November 13th 2015, I finished my 40th dive at Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy of Arizona, LLC located in Phoenix, AZ. Thank you Lori Klauber, CHT from HBOT of Arizona.
With your help, 2017 will bring about the creation of Team Veteran Foundation Wellness Clinics to be able to treat other TBI survivors with HBOT dives especially my brother and sister Veterans.
